Arnie Treffers en Hans Teunissen uit 1960 als
de The Texas Rockers.
Arnie had nog niet de baard in zijn keel. Hans
zong en Arnie vertelde.
Arnie Treffers was toen 13 Jaar.
Bovenstaande songs stonden op twee 78
toeren Flexidisc singles, opgenomen bij Valkenberg in de Kinkerstraat,
Amsterdam 1960.

Hans Theunissen at the age of 14 and Arnie
Treffers at the age of 13 years old.
These songs were recorded on two 78 rpm
Flexidisc singles, recorded at Valkenburg, Kinkerstraat, Amsterdam 1960.

In de jaren tachtig werd het rustig rond
Arnie, die naar Scandinavië
verhuisde. In 1991 ontmoette Peter Koelewijn
hem toevallig bij Dino
records. Treffers had een bandje bij zich,
met daarop een paar
liedjes die Peter én Dino directeur
Tony Berk konden bekoren.
De songs werden gearrangeerd door Johan
Rövenstrunck en de opnamen
vonden plaats in de Fendal Sound studio
met technicus Hans van Vondelen

In the 80th's it became very quiet around
Arnie, who went to Denmark.
In 1991 Peter Koelewijn did met him at
Dino Records. Treffers owned a
tape, on which some songs for Peter and
Dino director Tony Berk.
Songs were arranged by Johan Rövenstrunck
and the recordings were at
Fendal Sound studio with technicus Hans
van Vondelen.
